For this week's Try it on Tuesday manicure I have butter LONDON Jasper with OPI My Paprika Is Hotter Than Yours. I know it's Wednesday, but better late than never right?
I started with Jasper, a creamy pastel yellow from the 2013 Spring collection, for my base. I love the shade of yellow, but I had trouble with streakiness. I ended up using four coats to try and even it out, and it is still a tiny bit streaky IRL. I've read other reviews that didn't really have that problem though, so I may just have to be more careful next time. This photo is two coats in daylight and I topped it with one coat of Out the Door.
Since the streakiness was bothering me I decided to cover some of it with simple nail art. So I broke out another untried, OPI My Paprika Is Hotter Than Yours from the Euro Centrale collection. Now this is an orange I like, and the application/consistency was great. This photo shows one coat of My Paprika... over Jasper and in fluorescent light.
I am really happy with this combo, but My Paprika is a little deeper and leans more red IRL.
